That's not right gibra.The OCX in question is a Third Party library from Sheridan. Even says so right in the screenshot.
It is NOT a standard component with Visual Basic 6.0 or otherwise.Rosanero4ever - the reason you're getting the error is because the copy you have on your machine was probably just copied over and not installed properly. Sherridan used an app that comes with their components that you can use to register it. You just need to run it and enter in the license key that you have for it. That's really your only option at this point.-tg. I need to edit an old project in wich Threed20.ocs is used.When I execute the project the image attached is showed provining an information about the unlincensed copy of my threed20.ocx (it works if I install the program using setup.exe)How can i solve the problem avoiding the replacements of the components provided by the threed20.ocx?I've never heard of threed20.ocx but I have threed32.ocx and I've used it alot is that a typo or another ocx you are using?As gibra says the older ocx's are on the VB6 CD but there is an extra reg file to register them.
I've downloaded threed20.ocx 2.04 and registered it and added it to a project but every time you try to add one of the 6 controls you get the message Unlicensed Copy - For Demo Use Only and the control won't go on the Form. You Google for threed20.ocx and there is very little info.I'm wondering whats so special about this ocx that you can't do with threed32.ocx? If its for demo use then you can't add it to checkout any demo of its uses.
