Wii sports theme

Before someone tells me this, yes I know there's already a video tutorial on this topic by on this site. But this one is meant to be a text tutorial for those who would prefer that over a video. I figured I would put this up along with 'I May Fall' nus3bank I uploaded.

Anyway, on with the tutorial!PART 1Unzip the download, if you're downloading a nus3bank off of here or somewhere else. If it's named to replace another song, rename it. BUT MAKE SURE TO KEEP THE snd bgmpart!

So for example, you're using the song I May Fall, you'd name it something like 'sndbgmIMayFall'. Remember what you name it.Before you even open Smash Explorer, place the file you just renamed in the bgm folder of your workspace folder.

(worksapce - content - sound - bgm)That's it for Part 1!PART 2After that, you need to find a file in Smash Explorer called 'uisounddb.bin'.This file will be in 'data - param - ui'. It's pretty easy to spot since the icon next to it is different from every other file in this folder!Once you find this file, double click it and a new window will pop up.Now, click the 'add' button just below the song list. Mash it until you get to the bottom of the list. (You don't have to mash it until you get to the bottom, but if you want to keep all the songs YOU added organized and easy to find, it's a good idea. That way, you can just scroll to the bottom and all your music will be there! This will also make another step later on easier.)Next, title the song in the 'Title' and 'Title SoundTest' (For example I'm using the song 'I May Fall', so I'd type 'I May Fall' into these boxes). You can leave the description boxes empty. The source box will be where the song came from.

So if 'I May Fall' is from RWBY, I'd just type 'RWBY' into this box.Now under 'Sound DB File', there is a box labeled 'Main BGM'. You'll most likely see something along the lines of 'TEST05' here.

Delete this and start typing whatever it is you named your nus3bank earlier in Part 1 here, minus the sndbgmpart. (So for 'I May Fall', I'd type in 'IMayFall'). You should see your file come up in a drop down list really quickly, so click that. This is the end of Part 2. Now to move on to Part 3 and actually select which stages the song will play in.PART 3Click 'My Music' to switch to a view of a list of the stages.Click on the stages you want to add the song to, and simply click the 'Add' button button above the list of songs on that stage. (If you don't see the name of your song beside the 'Add' button, open the drop down menu and scroll to the bottom to find it if you followed my earlier advice.)After adding it to whichever stages you'd like it to play on, you're done! Click 'File' in the top left, and select 'Compile the modifications'. The second window will close. From here, add any other mods you'd like to add and build your mod!

You probably already know what to do from here. One last thing; for all songs you add to the game, their likeliness to play WILL start at zero. Be sure to adjust it to your liking before you select your stage!EDIT: Thank you to who brought it to my attention that after 20 songs are added, the game stops saving the settings for rarity, so keep that in mind!I hope this tutorial can help those who need it!-Comments. Accesstime 3y Posted byPosted byPosted byPosted byAlso, it should be noted that the game stops saving the settings for rarity after over 20 songs have been added. So far I haven't found a way to fix it, but usually resetting the settings for the stage in-game may fix it, but there is still a chance that the song rarity will not be saved once you leave the MyMusic screen, meaning it will be zero again. So is the rarity always set to max, or min, or does it vary?Always set to zero. Really unfortunate.

But this only happens when I add in new song, not when I replace, correct?Yes, replaced songs will keep their defaults from their originals, fortunately.Dededisgusting.
